A local Mac utility should act like one.

VolumeBridge is designed for a narrow job: make your Mac volume keys work with external display audio. The app does not need an account, cloud audio, telemetry, or background tracking to do that.

App data and telemetry

  • No account is required to use the app.
  • The app does not send analytics or telemetry.
  • The app does not make network requests.
  • The app does not upload audio, configuration, diagnostics, or usage data.
  • The app does not download or execute remote code.

macOS permissions

VolumeBridge asks for only the permissions needed for its local volume-control features.

  • Accessibility: used to receive global F10/F11/F12 media-key events.
  • System Audio Capture: used only for the local software volume/EQ path when hardware control is unavailable.

What the app does not access

VolumeBridge does not read your keychain, browser data, documents, photos, contacts, calendars, messages, or other personal files.

Website and launch-list data

The website uses Netlify Forms for the optional launch-list signup. If you submit the form, it sends the email address and optional setup details you typed, plus website-only campaign fields such as UTM parameters, referrer, landing page, and CTA intent.

Those website fields are used to understand which outreach links are useful. They do not add telemetry to the macOS app.
